As part of Sedo’s ongoing effort to protect the security and reputation of our members, our Standard, Premium and Premium Plus certifications will be required for all marketplace auctions starting on December 16, 2009. These levels of certification were previously only required for participants of Auction Events such as our GreatDomains auctions. However, with the continued growth of our marketplace, we are providing this increased security to our entire Sedo community. The expansion of our Member Certification is just one of the many necessary steps we have taken to ensure that domain buyers and sellers continue to feel safe and confident conducting business through Sedo.

What is certification?

Member Certification is an easy way to gain full access to Sedo’s wide array of products and services.  In the continued effort to provide a successful and secure marketplace and parking program, we ask that you certify your account following the initial sign-up process.  Your level of participation in Sedo's wide array of services determines which of the three certifications you will need to complete.
